Saturday night hubby and I are finally going to have our (30th) anniversary dinner; the actual date was in April but we had to wait THIS LONG for a reservation at the restaurant we were given a gift card to -- Canlis, in Seattle, if anyone is interested.

Well, I'm all ready for the big night: went to the doctor and had a botox touch-up (I told her, "Freeze my forehead!" and she obliged); found a wonderful "little black dress" with perfect jewelry to go with it; plus an Iron Maiden to keep all my jiggly parts in place so I'll look nice. We even bought a new car recently so we'll be stylin' when we pull up to the entrance!

It seems impossible that we've been married so long. We've had our ups and downs, of course; every marriage does. But there's been a lot more good than bad and even through some of the hard times I learned a lot and it seems that the longer we're together, the more we love each other. I could (and sometimes do) go on and on about what a wonderfull man my husband is. And I'm glad we're still together after all these years so I can let him know how much I love and appreciate him.
