Last September I brought 7 sets of sheets and pillowcases from my shore house to the laundry to be laundered. I like to have them professionally laundered and have them ready for the next summer season. Yesterday, we went to the shore house, and I was unpacking the the plastic bag of beautifully folded sheets, and I wasn't greeted with the ususal lovely, clean smell that I'm used to. Instead it smelled musty. The top pillowcases were slightly damp, and as I felt down the pile, the sheets were wet and MOLDY.

This morning on my way to work, I brought them back and I was greeted with an argumentative clerk. She more or less acused me of lying. She said who doesn't open their laundry for 3 months? She said the sheets were so wet, it was like someone poured a bottle of water in the bag. I tried to explain that obviously they were only damp went put in the bag, but that gravity caused the water to sink to the bottom pieces and make them wetter.

Now I'm waiting to hear from the owner/manager.
