I won $12.00 on Mega Millions last week. I'm rich, too!

You lucky girl you, all they need is your bank account number so they can deposit it for you.. Sounds like they are trying to be creative, but it really sounds so far fetched that it's hilarious .. 😂

@Icegoddess LOL! The scammers are too stupid to have these emails written by someone whose first language is English!
Many errors -- a dead giveaway if nothing else.

Santa Claus?
Are you buying carrots and nutritional food in bulk with your winnings for your growing family?

Because you are about to become fabulously rich, it is time to hire an expert in keeping greedy people away from you, guarding you and your family from constant pests, etc.etc.
I’m the one for you! Willing to work for a reasonable rate. Just send me a mere $20,000 so I can afford to come to you.

Very funny & entertaining if it were't sad that some people actually fall for this scam!

@Icegoddess -Well, thats a new one!
They must think we are all idiots!

Federal Bureau of InvestigationField Intelligence Groups J. Edgar Hoover Building935 Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20535Attention: Beneficiary,I am the Deputy Director, Federal Bureau of Investigation David Bowdich. We intercepted and seized a sealed envelope at the John F Kennedy International Airport, New York, NY 11430 coming from a foreign country. We scanned the content of the sealed envelope and found it contained a total sum of 4.1 million dollars value certified payment bond. Also, the sealed envelope had documents with your name on them as the receiver of the package. We question the diplomat that accompanied the sealed envelope into the United States, and we learned that he was to deliver this sealed envelope to your residence as payment of an inheritance / winning prize payment due and owed to you.
Hahahahahaha! If the FBI found a package that contained 4.1 million dollars in it with my name attached, I doubt they would be looking to get the money to me.
I can see some of my elderly relatives falling for this, unfortunately.

Yeah, the "tell" is "FBI". It's the Treasury Department that investigates cash coming from overseas.

We find this amusing, but the errors are deliberate .... they're TRYING to find the person dumb enough to think it's legit .... and reply, providing their bank information, etc etc. Happens all the time, unfortunately. These people are also terribly embarassed and often won't report this fraud to authorities right away ... they feel so stupid. By the time it is reported, the thieves have moved on and are difficult to trace.
Those with common sense just skip these ridiculous solicitations.
