@Sooner  Is orange a good color for you??

@ciao_bella  OH NO!  I'm a "winter!"  It will make me look very bad.  Maybe they will make an EXCEPTION?

@Sooner  Goodness...I'm a winter too and orange just won't work.  I prefer violet or cobalt blue.

I've gotten the call a few times letting me know that "the cops" will be coming to my house to arrest me.

Jail - pfft.  I can beat that.  I got an email that I have been hacked and the hacker has video of me viewing porn (this I have to see) and he is going to send it to all my contacts if I don't pay him $6,800.

He gave me one day to pay up.  That was a week ago.  Stll waiting to see this video.

These scams are getting more and more ridiculous.

@Isobel Archer  Wow that's outrageous!

@Sooner     I've been getting one that says if I don't call a given # I right away I will loose use of my computer. I put them in the call blocker so there's definetly more than one caller because of different numbers..

I hope you look good in orange!!!!!!!

They have a lot of nerve trying to scare people.  Glad you didn't fall for this.  Love when they are busted.  A few months ago, saw a man on my homepge who was arrested and is an alleged scammer.  He was taken away in cuffs and still in his jammies.  Ha!!!

@Sooner

My daughter received the same phone call!  The scammers are out there and will do whatever they can to get your money.  If someone calls and says they are from the IRS, just hang up.  The IRS sends letters, they do not make phone calls!

Sadly, the scammers seem to target the older people.  A lady down the street from us was scammed.  She got a phone call stating her grandson was in the Carribean on one of the islands and had to be hospitalized.  They said she had to wire $3,000.00 to them so he could be treated.  So, she did!  Of course, after calling her son and finding out her grandson was at home she realized what happened.   Too late, the money was gone.

Tell your older friends and family members not to answer the phone if a recognized number or name doesn't appear. People who don't have caller id are really susceptible.
