I ordered (from Overstock) an electric mattress pad and an electric blanket.
I am also going to put flannel sheets on my bed, and I have four, (yes FOUR) blankets.
I can hardly wait to snuggle in to all of that warmth!
@Anonymous032819 You should really try the polar fleece sheets if you want to experience cozy. Get rid of the flannel, they are old fashion and not as nice as fleece.

I like a warm bed and a cool (not cold! I HATE cold!) room.
Oh, I also ordered the velvet sheets that were the TSV.
Decisions! Decisions!
Which one to put them on the bed?

Fleece sheets and a lightweight comforter: aah. . .

You enjoy your cozy nest any way you want it. Snuggle Up. Sweet Dreams.
Me on the other hand would last "maybe" 5 minutes in your nest, and I would be tossing blankets and all.
BUT YOU GO GIRL! ENJOY!

DH would love all that comfort and warmth but it's too much for me. We have a cotton blanket always on the bed. For the winter I add a comforter and a heavier top quilt on our bed. We stay warm but a lot of the time it's all just so heavy on top of me I struggle to roll over. DH would love something that warms up on him but electric blankets and the like sort of scare me.

I splurged on a 'warmer' down-alternative comforter from LLBean a couple of years ago. It is one of my best investments. I don't need anything other than 1 blanket with it - so I can kick off the comforter when hot. I put a thin twin blanket or flannel sheet sideways across the best for my dog and to keep his hair off the comforter - and it's a lot easier to wash than a comforter. He snuggles down and stays nice and warm no matter the temp.
I happened to look at the same comforter last week and the fill is 1/2 of what it was when I bought it but the price remained the same.

So cozy you'll want to stay in bed.

Oh my, when did flannel sheets become passe and old fashioned?
I find fleece, any kind of fleece to have an ick factor.

I have one king size comforter and
on DH side of the bed has a twin size electric blanket and an extra twin size blanket. Ever since he had a stroke 15 years ago he gets chilled.
I went through menopause 15 years ago. I'm rarely cold. I have the window open too.
totally opposite of how we used to be.
