You can probably remove the handle, take off the sticker, and reinstall the handle. We switched the handle for our new fridge a while ago, it's pretty easy.
ETA - and I know it's a pain but this is why we need to "supervise' all repair people.

I know what you mean - you can get the sticker off with the products mentioned but some small part of it right next to the handle will still be there - probably not noticeable to anyone but you. It would bother me and that's why I'd try calling the dealer first. If they refuse, you can of course use Goo Gone or water or whatever.
It's not a matter of not having common sense as someone mentioned. That was rude. It's a matter of wanting something done right.

@ValuSkr the common sense comment was referring to the person who put the handle over a sticker.

this is why i put major purchases on a credit card and then if things aren't right, they won't get paid until it is.

@wismiss.....wish you nothing but the best in getting this situation accomplished.

It's a pain sometimes, but that's why I either watch them do their work or don't let them leave until I'm satisfied.
I know that doesn't help you.
I would try to remove the handle so the sticker can be removed. It would bug me if I just left it there.

When I purchased a refrigerator last month they told me the handles typically come installed on the left side and if I wanted it switched there would be a $10.00 fee, in addition to the delivery and installation charge. Since I wanted the handle on the left side there was not an issue, however I thought trying to charge extra was a bit ridiculous.

I don't think I'd use any of those goo removing agents on a refrigerator door without knowing if the door could be harmed. I'd get the store to send someone back to the house to remove the handle AND the sticker, then put the handle back in place.

@faeriemoon......yes, that's a great idea. I too would have been on the phone with them as soon as I saw it..... It could have been taken care of by now.

I would be upset too. I bought a new refrigerator recently and the 2 guys who delivered it changed the handle over to the right side. Also, it wouldn't fit into the kitchen doorway so they had to remove the door to get it in and put it back on. I thanked the guys many times. In my opinion, all of this should be done by the delivery people.
