If it's not fun, make some fun here. And if you don't try to make it fun, then you only have yourself to blame, imo.

It's not up to other people to make your life fun.

I know the purpose of this is to incite, but I'll go ahead and say it - I'm having fun when I'm here. Otherwise, I wouldn't be here.

But I don't spend 24/7 here. I come and go, between being other places online and doing other things around my house. I like a mix of things.

Maybe spending too much time in one place is what might cause some to be bored. If I spend too much time anywhere, or doing any one thing, I know I'd get bored. That's just the way I am. I like variety in most aspects of my life.

This place is fun when compared to that.
I am sure there are thousands of boards that you would not find "fun". Still not sure why you find the need to bring up one in particular.

I continue to like the new boards very much. The change in set up simply required navigation thru a system just like with a new phone, or computer program. Those who worked thru the challenges are still here; those who were totally resistant to change, or chose not to bother with learning their way around, are not here. I made my choice, which was to continue to come here in an effort to be helpful, supportive, and encouraging to others, which is also my only expectation. It is not my nature to argue, bash, berate, create drama, promote negativity, or stir the pot; I state my opinion and move on.

I'm really surprised this thread hasn't yet been filled with examples of fun. The former thread about the QVC forum being "boring" turned into a very non-boring thread.

This forum is so much fun that:

--- I come here even when I have other things to do (well, you kind of do that when you're a champion procrastinator).

-- I come here and wonder whether people click on special forums, random posts of interest, or look for posters they know.
-- I sometimes make my little dog wait for a walk or her supper. (Not always, of course.)
