I am watching an old (really old) Bette Davis, Gary Merrill movie and in one scene he is talking to another guy about her and her love for her horse, Fury. He says:

"People who love animals too much, seldom love their fellow man enough
I do not like the human race
I do not like it's silly face
But give me a puppy for a friend
and I'll be faithful to the end."
Well, so much for old B&W movies. It's from 1951.......

>>>"People who love animals too much, seldom love their fellow man enough."

True, but I think it's more like their fellow man never measures up to the honesty and devotion that animals have to their humans. Wink I love those old movies.

It's called "Another Man's Poison"..... I love these old movies on TCM. I only watch the "suspense" "horror" "mystery" "drama", etc. And, I just love, love, love everything Hitchcock. I have all of those on Season Pass and love to watch them on a rainy day, which is practically every day here in south Florida now. Right now, believe it or not, it's "hailing"......
