I know cats are supposed to do this but...

Mine brought up a chipmunk from the basement this morning. Poor thing was barely moving. I put it in a box and put it outside, but I don't think the little guy is going to make it. Sigh. It's the cycle of life and all that...it's a cat's instinct, yes I know. But it's still distressing to see it first hand. I should be used to it having so many cats for so many years. I'm just a softie for any living creature I guess. So that's how my holiday weekend started...how about you?
