I just fielded a call from a tenant whose girlfriend is throwing him out.....

I hate to laugh at someone else's misfortune, but I swear--this phone call sounded like something out of a sitcom.

He was very calm, said this is George at (insert his address). Rachel is throwing me out of the house. A girl I used to know texted me, and she came unhinged. She's throwing all my stuff out the front door right now, so I need to find a different house.

At that point, I could hear her screaming in the background "You sure as h*ll do!" I could hear all the slamming and banging as she kept throwing stuff out.

I told George that I had another place that would fit his needs and asked if he wanted to see it today. Staying very calm, he said "Well, I have to be at work in an hour, and I don't know how long it's going to take me to gather up all my stuff from the front yard."

Sheesh.....just another day in the rental business.
