I have lots of nice scarves....long scarfs.   I am keeping a few. 

I want to do something different.   During the dark of the night I will take a slow walk in the park, and tie one scarf around every tree in the park.  

Come morning time.... oh joy..... will that park look all nice, happy-happy wearing a nice scarf around every tree in the park.

That park will be all dressed up and ready to greet the people that come to walk in the park every morning and all day long.

I know some will take many scarfs, and some will take one, and some will just look at the scarfs around the trees.

Is this a good idea or should I just toss them?

Or give them to a group where they sell them and they make money?    

Or should I make them a nice gift to the park?

Seems more fun to dress the park up.  

I give all the time to groups that sell my clothes and they make money.

I am in the mood to take a walk with my Husband during the night and dress up the park and leave a gift to people.

It is my gift.

If you wouldn't get in trouble for something legal (like littering, but not that I mean your scarves are trash or anything like that) I think it would be fun, and it would be fun for people to take what they wanted.

I'm sure there will be those who criticize, saying that you are endangering the environment or animals that might get wrapped up in them. If you would go back in a day or two and pick up all that weren't taken, I would find it a fun adventure.

I hate to say this, but these days some would consider it to be littering or something of that nature since it's not your private property, even though it sounds like a fun idea (ala Christo and Jeanne-Claude.)  I'd donate them instead.

You can safely walk around a park at night?  Hmmmm.  You obviously aren't from my neck of the woods.

I walk in the park daily.   Around here people are always putting ribbons around trees for different things.   So I might as well give a gift to those that walk daily in the park.   

All the scarfs will be gone in no time.   I am sure.   They are really  nice scarves.   Lovely...lovely.

I also thought about taking a walk around the neighborhood,  and tie a scarf around the tree in front of their home.  

But I like the idea of gifting the park.
