Ah, the infamous "steam your womenparts."
She's so weird...she grosses me out with some of the stuff she says.
So much of her advice & recommendations are SO off the wall and clueless, I refuse to believe anyone who grew up as she did actually IS that out of touch with reality - so I've come to believe that much of what she advises is tongue-in-cheek, for the express purpose of keeping her name in peoples' consciousness - all publicity is good publicity.
The prices...LMAO. The "eating on a food stamp budget" fiasco. I just can't imagine she's actually that stupid. She has to know how what she says will be perceived. I'm sure she gets a good laugh out of it all.

Her magazine/website is about alternative practices
which are practiced in different parts of the world.
She just brings all this to light.
She's another 'chosen one' the Interweb
loooves to hate for absolutely no reason.

I agree with you there. I have her cookbooks and get her emails. They have some pretty good suggestions and reviews of great products Some good, some not.

@cherry re: GP. Her only training is as an actress. Of course, that gave her the ability to act like she knew what she was talking about & must be a great salesperson. Brings to mind, does Josie have any scientific background to be producing face serums, lotions, etc. Always wondered.

Chris Martin's band mates had some terrible things to say about her behavior, I believe every word of it, lol.

The claims, shopping suggestions and pronouncements she makes about all sorts of things on her website/blog seem to continually demonstrate that she's d**b as a box of rocks.
My personal opinion is that she deliberately posts outrageous stuff not because she believes it, but because the more outrageously stupid she is, the more her name stays in the public eye. If she didn't post all the idiocy, she would fade from view based on her "talent." JMO.
Which, if true, would necessarily make her not as dumb as a box of rocks.

Riiiiight. What I said was, she POSTS as if she's that dumb. I don't think she IS, therefore her posts are calculated to make people think she is, because that gets her Twittered about.

No she doesn't and many "experts" that she uses go against what the professional medical community think. She and her experts not only go against what is usually shared opinions in the medical world but also research supporting their views.
As an example, she was really into cleanses and almost without exception GI drs say that the intestines do not need cleansing, they take care of themselves without needing our help at all.

I looked on her goop website and noted things are quite expensive
She sells "goop" ? Not really sure what you're referring to. Did she start a company and sells products?

Her website is called goop. She sells lots of things

From I'm Not Obsessed website:
Are you one of the people who has heard of actress Gwyneth Paltrow’s website, GOOP, and wondered what it’s supposed to be about? Or just wondered what "GOOP" stands for? Ask no more: Gwyneth provides some answers.
Gwyneth said she started the website as a way to influence people positively with all of the varied information she has accumulated through her "incredible, blessed, sometimes difficult, very lucky, very unique life."
She also explains what, exactly, GOOP stands for.
"It is a nickname, like my name is G.P., so that is really where it came from. And I wanted it to be a word that means nothing and could mean anything."
And as for those of you who don’t like her website?(Yeah, I’ve read some of the comments.)
"I think part of the problem is people get a hit of energy when they are negative about something, and it is a very detrimental way for them to get that hit of energy. They do not understand why they do not have a happy life. That kind of stuff is just noise to me."
That kinda explains it all, I think. Most of what she says, publicly, sounds a lot like the last paragraph. LOL.
