She makes a lot of health claims. Does she actually have any training in this field?  I don't know much about her. 

I looked on her goop website and noted  things are quite expensive

No, I don't believe she does.  In fact, I remember reading a couple of articles that stated she had been criticized for some of her weird recommendations about women's health.

I thought so.

I do like her mother, who I think is prettier, and a better actress.The only thing she pushes, is something to strengthen your bones, and that is a real Rx not a bunch of malarkey

Gwynnie can never hold a candle to her mother in acting or looks IMO (never mind in class); she's an embarrassment.

The claims, shopping suggestions and pronouncements she makes about all sorts of things on her website/blog seem to continually demonstrate that she's d**b as a box of rocks.

My personal opinion is that she deliberately posts outrageous stuff not because she believes it, but because the more outrageously stupid she is, the more her name stays in the public eye. If she didn't post all the idiocy, she would fade from view based on her "talent." JMO.

I don't think she 'claims' anything.

Her magazine/website is about alternative practices

which are practiced in different parts of the world.  

She just brings all this to light.

She's another 'chosen one' the Interweb
