Oh, that stinks. Sorry to hear you are suffering. I made sure I was eating a lot of foods high in antioxidants. Well when I could eat. I didn't have much of an appetite either @Noel7.  I ate pomegranite arils like crazy. I also drink a lot of green tea normally and I drink it hot and make iced tea out of it too. Do you like green tea?

It's not too late.  The flu saeson runs tfrough March usually.  The shot takes about three weeks to reach full capacity.

You can get them in places like Walgreens and Target.  Just be sure to tell them you want the vaccine without any egg.

Funny you mention that @MyGirlsMom because in the last 6 months or so, I have been putting that on everything!!! I actually think it is really helping me too. Despite still getting pneumonia and strep, I haven't been as sick as I normally have been in previous years and the amount of staph infections I get has been a lot less than normal too! Thank you though. I am actually thinking about getting some empty gel caps and putting some in there. I was going to ask my ID doctor about that and what he thought. Thanks again!

My husband was up last night with the GI bug (fever, chills, throwing up, etc). I felt so bad for him, he was really miserable.  I understand it is really infectious so I am probably next.  Today is my day off so I plan to really enjoy myself, as I might be sick for the weekend.

So many people I know have some kind of respiratory/cold/sinus ---etc. thing going on.  Myself included.  I have been sick for over 2 weeks and had to go the doctor 2 x already and still feel lousy.  My stomach has been affected minimally --- so far.  Knock on wood! For those who are suffering, I hope you get some relief.  For those who aren't, I hope you are spared!!!!
