I just replied to another poster about her temptation to post her beautiful grandson's photos on this forum (which is against forum standards, I think). I used no abusive language and was not gruff or insulting to anyone at all. In fact, the poster I was responding to is one I have great respect for and have always had wonderful interaction with. However, when I saw about 3 minutes later that the reply count had gone down one, I went back to the thread to see which of the 6 replies had disappeared - none of them appeared to go against the forum standards. Well, MY reply to my friend the poster right before me was the one that was deleted and now the whole thread is not poofed but shut down for comments. My question is, if the OP actually broke the forum standards by posting pictures, why didn't the whole thread get poofed? If it wasn't breaking the standards then what exactly did I say that got my reply poofed? I don't get it.
To the poster who is NOW the last on that thread, your judgment in not posting photos is very smart.
