I was embarrassed for them when they did that ridiculous squirrel thing.  Not only was it stupid, it was insulting to  anyone with an adult mentality.

It was cute, at first, and started organically.  But, like everything else, they had to take it to the nth level where it seemed silly and forced.  At least, it seemed that way to me.  I think the hosts are all 'encourgaged' to find some kind of schtick to connect to their customers and sometimes it works and most times, it does not.

I never got the impression that Gary really liked that it went on and on and on.

@QVCkitty1 .............Absolutely there are things that annoy me but I dont go around whining, and saying nasty things about them.  It really does not bother me that other people did not like the squirrels, to each his own.  However, to keep up the negative posts is totally un-necessary.

My point of this being the old saying be careful what you wish for you just might get it.  

IMO this is a perfect example of that saying.  People wanted the squirrels gone and now they are.

I was never able to see a whole show, but the squirrels never bothered me, and I was glad it made so many others happy.

What I do know is, even with the squirrels, I found out everything I needed to know about the pieces they were selling. I could always count on knowing what shade of red, whether it was tomato or leaning to a cool red.

Carolyn and Gary described colors better than any other hosts did. I really hope some of the other hosts took notice, but I doubt we'll get that much information from anyone else. 

They were also better than most when it came to describing sizes, and asking the models. How many times have I heard another host say, "Susie is 5'9" without telling us what size "Susie" is wearing? 

Carolyn and Gary seem to be very close. I'm sure he will miss working with her.

I enjoyed the squirrel thing.  Didn't bother me nor does any of those other things hosts use as props.

I even have the squirrel shirt that came out.

Tuesday and Sunday my favorite time to watch.
