And BOY am I surprised!
I've always been SO sure that Boo is part Maine Coon. Well, he is a mixed breed, which was pretty obvious and the Phenotype report confirmed it:
His Phenotype Information is:
"BooBoo is a long-haired tabby and carries a copy of the color dilution gene. He has M4, the oldest of the long-haired mutation."
His Breed Information (and this is what really surprised me):
"BooBoo is a crossbred cat which shows affinity with the Turkish Van breed"
I never, in a milliion years, would have guessed Turkish Van!
There's some other information--Phenotypic Markers--which I'll post if anyone is interested. I don't know what this information means but I'm going to find. out.
Wow, what a surprise!
