I got new glasses. Holy Moly!

A few weeks ago I posted something over in the Wellness section about having an eye checkup to get new frames/glasses after probably five or six years. BTW, I am very nearsighted. Well, I got the glasses today, and boy was I surprised. And in an Oh No! way. Suddenly I saw all the gray in my bangs and wrinkles that I thought were hidden by my makeup and good skincare. Holy Moly! Maybe being able to see isn't what it's cracked up to be. Or maybe it's just a reality check. Sometimes some of us live in a world of make-believe.

I would use your "old" glasses for anything you need a mirror for and save the new one's for everything else...........lol

I don't need glasses and I see all the same stuff you saw with your new glasses....guess we're all sharing in the "wealth"

So. True for me too!!! Now that I've gone to rx vs "readers" I was shocked at the things I see now!!! Lol

Kinda reminds me of The Everybody Loves Raymond show when Marie got her new glasses after the kids nagged her...hmmmm she saw ALL the imperfections with them!!! It was too funny they all wished they'd just shut up!!! Lol

heck with the wrinkles, I was just delighted to see everything in true color.
