I got a call from myself—first time!

I’ve had my share of scam calls, but today, I got the infamous "call from your own phone number."

Gee, I feel like I should get a star or something! I guess it was just a matter of time.

It's getting to be Medicare signup time, so the scammers are ramping it up!

@Dragonflyveb: This has happened to me as well, along with every other phone scam known to mankind. In fact, l just got my second new scam call of the day, from a weird-looking area code, and blocked it while it was still ringing. Lol.

We get calls from ourselves occasionally too, our name/# on caller ID.

We always block us, LOL!

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

I was searching ways to block "unknown" caller.

And one solution said to put in the number (as if you were going to call it in your iphone)

000-000-0000 and then to block it!

Yea!!

I use the HIYA app and had to block my own number on it. RIdiculous. And I have received a number of messages on my land line AND my cell to 'QUIT CALLING ME". Um, I'm NOT calling you because I have no idea who you are!

My scam calls seem to be on the wane as it has been years since I answered.....finally getting the message that I am never home for them.

@Dragonflyveb, starting on 9/11 my mother was getting calls that came up on her caller id as her name. I called Spectrum and was told a lot of people are complaining about this. Spectrum blocked some calls and also signed her up for NOMOROBO, the calls have stopped.
