Ya, ya the parents feel bad. Put your money where your mouth is and pay up. People just disgust me anymore. This is why I'm much happier around animals.

Should have the kids and his family put it back together.

Last month my latest watercolors were up in a local gallery/show I had to tell a kid about fourteen to please not touch. His mother was right next to him and was oblivious.
While I appreciated his enthusiasm I was in disbelief that he needed to be told. He was gesturing with his hand while using a cupcake to point at my intricate work and I was in shock. The piece in question was behind the glass in its frame but still, who does that?
I know they should not serve food at show openings as adults getting drunk can be just as bad. When it comes to proximity of pieces.

There is simply not enough information in the 'article' to lay blame on anyone. We don't know the age of the child, how the destruction came about, or anything about the exhibit.

No one has the right to destroy something that doesn't belong to them. Plain and simple. It is all about respect.

No wonder people want children excluded from events and well behaved children miss out because of the brats.
We shouldn't tolerate it, it's time parents were held accountable, asked to leave stores, restaurents, wherever...when their children misbehaved.

According to the article, this incident took place in China and the child was a "boy."
Because of China's 1 child policy, male children are put on a pedestal & can do no wrong.

Amen, sister !!! Parents need to be held financially accountable when their brats destroy property. Society needs to play hardball with inept parents.

Not to pat myself on the back, but I have been saying for at least two decades the solution to juvenile truancy and delinquency is to hold the parents accountable. You better believe they will start caring the day they begin being held financially or legally responsible for their little darlings. Inconvenience the parents, and they will start paying attention.
Edited to correct an omission.
