Geez it's 8-7, no where near being Fall. I hate Fall, Summer girl here all the way! In fact, we're going boating today! Let the heat and humidity reign! Yippee. JMO

@ID2  - I'm not one to rush the seasons away.  I'm enjoying the green grass and flowers.  Not looking forward to the dullness of winter.

Sounds great, and I'm sure your grandsons had a good time helping you! I love to hear about people decorating for fall because it seems that so many overlook it and jump straight to Christmas.  (Not a criticism, just an observation...) Anyway, enjoy your fall decor!! Smiley Happy

Grandkids are handy little critters aren't they!  Glad you have nice ones who help out.  Was a treat on offer?  Silly question right 😍

@susankate, fall is my favorite season.  I love decorating with fall decor, will put wreath on door first and then do inside of house. I see no reason to postpone what we enjoy! I do not look forward to winter so want to love every minute of fall.

I am ready to fall along with you!!

My grandchildren started school on Monday this week so our summer other than heat is over.

Your name is so pretty Smiley Happy  You must get fall temps when it's actually fall.  We get fall temps at the end of Nov (at best).  I'm more than ready for the jet stream to swing in my favor!  I will admit we had more rain this spring than we've had in years and so far, the summer temps have been more normal than months of 100+ degrees.  Hoping for snow and a frigid winter.

Good for you!  It must be nice to actually like the heat if you have to live in it anyway.  Enjoy the lake Smiley Happy

I despise summer. I have lived in the south all of my life. I can't take the heat and I avoid the sun like the plague because of skin cancer. I have had 6. I would love to think that come September the heat would be gone and we would have spectacular fall colors. But usually in North Georgia this comes in mid October. Fall is my favorite time of year. I think mother nature shows her most vibrant colors in the fall. Looking forward to Valerie's harvest show this weekend.
