One thing I think we can all agree on is that a drastic change needs to be made because we're in a sorry state right now.  What's going on with the grand poo-bas we have is just not working --- at all.  I vote for a letter E --- clean house and start all over again.

The Ukraine is responsible for providing over a quarter of the world’s wheat. Forecasters are predicting a huge jump in food prices worldwide when low production resulting from the war begins to affect the food chain.

i know our society doesn’t do nuance or context anymore but, like it or not, the world has become small. No longer can a nation just do a quick fix if it ever could. Every government’s actions have a ripple effect around the world. Just as the gas shortages in the 1970’s were a direct result of the formation of OPEC we are experiencing the results of the Russian invasion among other factors. That is why inflation is now a worldwide problem just as the pandemic was.

i know people are naturally drawn to the idea that everything is a simple fix etc. but that belief throughout history has resulted in the rise of fascism. Read the history of 20th century Germany.

Definitely B. The price and availability of gas/oil effects everything else.

Easy one for me. I don't buy used cars/I don't eat out, and our 3,000+sq.ft. home is not much higher than that rent.

B it is!

Price controls produce shortages that lead to rationing.  Always have, always will.  It's economics 101.

Gas prices had nearly doubled before Russia invaded Ukraine.
