Re: I'd rather have enemies than ""family""

Sorry your going though this. Money doesn't take the place of family,to bad they have split the family over something that doesn't truly make you happy.

By the time your amily gets done fighting over this the only ones who will get anything are the lawyers. Why can't you guys understand this and come to some sort of agreement before all the money has been wasted ?

I hope the estate is a big one for all this turmoil, Hyacinth. I'm sorry your husband is losing his brothers over this {#emotions_dlg.sad}

It has split all for good.

What a shame. I doubt that's what their father envisioned when he made his will.

Isn't that the truth. They disgust me.

Hyacinth

One never knows what was in someone's mind at the time they made out the will.

People can be mean and evil since they know they will gone and don't have to deal with it. It could be their revenge.

It happened to us. People we've known and loved for 30 years changed into totally different people and not for much money. Six months later, we still can't believe it.

It must be that $80K is a small percentage of the total. Otherwise saner people would walk away.

Sometimes I feel that way about some of the people I am related to.

Sorry you're having all that drama.

I doubt that sanity has much to do with this situation. this posyer has been posting these details for years now. By now it has just turned into a wanting to get them back type of situation I think.

Re: I'd rather have enemies than ""family""

It's good to know that there's another family with at least two idots in it. My family went through a similar situation...oh and I have an aaunt and uncle who have the longest running divorce proceedings in their county (10 years)...they're now the best of friends....happy valentine's day and good luck.

More like not letting the con-artist brother get away with his attempt at thievery. I can understand that.

Looks to me like they will burn up all their inheritances in legal fees. You can win the battle and still lose the war. Too bad inheritors don't realize that.

Greedy people will fight like starved dogs in the street over loose change.

The OP has been posting about getting her share of this estate for years. Probably won't be enough to get her a happy meal.
