I could do without the Hi How Are You on the shopping channels !!

The host says the callers name and says Hi How Are You...caller answers then asks the host How Are You, the host answers, then silence until the host asks if the caller is there....you get my drift this is time that could be used talking about the item for sale....and the kissing to both cheeks has been addressed before, I could do without that also.....so should these two things irritate you ??
