Ok I love fireworks, I used to go to see them (by professionals), and knew people (When I was young) who bought some of the illegal ones and set them off in fields. My kids- they used to do sparklers which are legal. So I have nothing against LEGAL ones BUT..................

Well tonight our neighbors have been shooting off ILLEGAL (in PA) fireworks all night from their DECK. There is a farmers field behind us but theyre not doing it there, theyre doing them off the deck. I saw on the news earlier NO ILLEGAL FIREWORKS WILL BE TOLERATED and many warnings. SO I kept debating calling the cops, (for fear of being an old fuddy duddy IE it IS the 4th of July after all).

Well one hit our deck and I believe it was a quarter stick OR a half stick. DH is in bed (Works at 4AM tomorrow) and our cats are shaking. I have had IT up to HERE and for the FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE, I called the cops. (Who still never came by the way! And they just shot more off again).

These are the same neighbors that I had a talk with last year about throwing butts in our MULCH. They had stopped doing THAT but this year the butts started again TOO. Well between the fireworks and butts Ive had it up to HERE with them.

Lastly, they wont just do this for the 4th, these fireworks will continue every weekend ALL summer like last year.

By the way this is in the country but a deveolpement residential area. These people in this town talk about how bad the city is all the time. Well I got news my neighbors when I lived in the city were more considerate and friendlier than the people here in this hicktown!

Well I feel bad in a way calling but on the other hand Ive had it. Its either call or blast my rock music at 5AM and see how they like that..lol. (they probably wouldnt hear it as our homes dont connect).
