I was supposed to leave on Thursday. We got to the airport late because of a storm. I checked my luggage and walked as fast as I could to the terminal. They gave my seat away because I was late. They gave me a ticket for Friday and my niece picked me up and took me back to my sisters house. It wasn't until I got there that I realized my luggage was on the plane. I returned to the airport yesterday and even got on the plane. Before I reached the plane I fell in a pool of water and slipped and landed flat on the back. I was okay but very sore and my jeans were soaking wet. I didn't have any extra clothes with me and the airport only offered paramedics. I didn't need them I was okay. I finally got on the airplane and sat for about about a half hour and the pilot announced that the plane had a defective part and we had to depart the plane after 2 hours my flight was cancelled and we all got hotel reservations at double tree and food vouchers. So I am leaving this afternoon with a long layover in Denver and getting home after midnight.

Have a safe flight, glad you were not injured.

Did you not have some of the most glorious weather ever during your stay in our fine state?

Well, other than that 7 inches of rain {#emotions_dlg.crying} But, that was just the last couple of days.

AND you got to be a part of Cards/Royals fever !

LOVE Missouri !

Oh Moxie! Get home safe in one piece and with your sanity.....it's like "Trains, planes, and automobiles" isn't it.

What an ordeal. I know you will be very happy when you finally do get home. There is no place like home, wherever that may be.

Hope you're well on your way home by now. Sounds like you were in misery instead of Missouri! Hope you have a better experience next time. Have a good week.
