@hckynut "I wanted it built exactly with the equipment I wanted, which included all the color schemes, inside and out."
So true! Why I was getting frustrated. I could not fanthom spending my hard earned retirement pension on things I would not or could not use, like and/or understand. At 66 yrs of age this will be my last car purchase. I wanted something I could enjoy for the rest of my driving years w/o getting a Ph.D to learn how to use the Star Trek accessories. One car I test drove reminded me of the Enterprise deck.
All I need is a radio, heat & air conditioner. It's bad enough this new car as a standard feature has a touch screen video screen on the dashboard. I will need to learn its usage as most of the controls are on there. That's it! Knobs & push buttons I can do.
Factory ordering is the way to go!!!!! 👌🏾

OMG!!! The color of your car is the same color as my current wheels...
2000 Ford Escort ZX2-candy blue
That's cool!
Ours is loaded too I think? It has heated seats, moon roof, etc. We also paid extra for the windows to be tinted darker and a bigger spoiler on the back to make it look sportier. It is really cute!
The next year they had the back up cameras available on them, I would have loved that feature.
My son works for a big Ford dealership so we got the employee discount which was nice.
We are Ford people. My husband drives a little Ford Ranger pickup. Actually, my husband worked for Ford when we first got married 40 plus years ago. Not the same dealership as my son though.

"tinted windows"?
Good thing U don't live in Tx we're not allowed to have anything other then factory tint on our vehicles. Tint garages won't go over the factory installed tints. Cops will pull you over in heartbeat and give you 200.00 ticket.
Sun is brutal down here, but, all we can have is what they call an 'eyebrow' tint that comes on a new car. can't be below that tiny black mark that is on the windshield either.
Love that mint green color by the way.

Solar tinted glass is a standard feature on the SE model.
The only way I can explain it is that on sunny days the windows automatically tint.
I have Transisiton lens on my glasses. They work the exact way. Indoors the lens is clear. Outside, they darken. However, to me they look clear looking out. Just no glare & no squinting.
"Applied" tinting is illegal in N.J. However, the police will let you slide if they can see inside the car from their vehicles.
Darken/blacken windshield & front side windows will get pulled over.
Darken/blacken rear & back windows are legal in N.J.

@Mz iMac Beautiful car. You can't go wrong with a Ford, IMO. My dh just bought a Ford Escape. He's in heaven.

@SharkE There was factory tint on ours already. However we can tint them a bit darker in Kansas. There is a number/rating (don't remember what it is) and we had it tinted to the max for Kansas law. We don't break the law. LOL

We can't f&rt here in Tx without being pulled over. LOL
Ridiculous. Guess getting skin cancer is OK, though. sheesh........
I hold cardboard over my passenger side of the car window on long trips.
Hope they don't take that away too. Hubbo made mistake of putting that do it yourself tint plastic on his front window just little past the factory tint.
Yep, 200.00 ticket...........
