I am finished Christmas shopping, are you?

I have never Christmas shopped this late in my life! I just put in my last 2 orders. I am also waiting for 2 previous deliveries as one was advanced sale on Amazon and is holding up the other b.c I selected pack in least amount of packages. And the 2 things I ordered just now are 1 last thing for my son and 1 last thing for my husband.. But I wrapped everything else I had today, so at least I wont have much to wrap when these orders arrive

And to those in my family that teased me for starting to shop in JULY other years, I told them I will be starting in July next year. Because when I did I was finished by black Friday and wrapped and it was wonderful! lol.

I don't know how people (like my adult children) wait to shop at the last minute. They will probably be out finishing shopping Christmas Eve morning even before we get together in the afternoon.lol.

I believe that waiting can be for several reasons.... one can be an adrenaline rush..... another can be for financial reasons.... another could be that the person is a procrastinator by nature.... we are not all alike.... I am not finished because I am waiting for someone to give me some information.... so I have put my fate in her hands.... re: shopping, lol....

Saw this cute little quote in Reader's Digest the other day that said:

I'm all done with my Christmas shopping now. Now I just have to get the gifts for others.

I had to chuckle at that.

I am almost finished. I have to get 2 stocking stuffers.

Now I am buying new lightweight storage for my Christmas decorations. I'm buying duffel-type storage bags. Now we have very heavy shipping suitcases.  They are way too heavy for DH to be hauling up & down from the garage attic.

I got done last Friday.  I got a list from our DD that morning & was done a few hours later.  Now I just need a few stocking stuffers & a few more prizes for when we play games after lunch on Christmas Eve day!

We just had our Christmas last Saturday! All the kids were up and we opened our gifts, had a wonderful huge dinner, delicious desserts! Its all done for me! Whew!

Congratulations. I'm about 1/2 done. Today a few stops at rick and mortar stores, then finish up with some on line ordering. Thank God for on line ordering with amazon and the others. Great time and money savers for sure.
