@On It, Thoughts and prayers for you and your community. Mother Nature can be so strikingly, incedibly and fascinatingly beautiful one minute and yet devastatingly destructive the next.

One option for internet that may be worth exploring is to see if T-mobile or another carrier has those home modems available that work off of a monthly flat rate cell service.

@rockygems123 Here is a photo of some of our elk. I grabbed it off a video showing the fire fighter's camp. They are at the elementary campus not far from our home. They are no doubt part of our herd.

What incredible, incredible challenges for you, Loved Ones, Neighbors, plus, Flora & Fauna (saw yr pic)!   But sounds like your plans are so solid, & outlook is so healthy, safe & workable.

I'll share my G-d with you. (nice of me, huh) heh. He's unfathomably Super!!  He's helped me, successfully, out of a multitude of small to gigantic, unthinkable challenges my entire life!  Try to keep the faith. 

In the meantime, our/my prayers for you & loved ones. Surely,  we/I await to hear/read from you as best you can, & as your challenges abate! .. and as you can maybe pop in/msg us. Otherwise, in the meantime, super duper prayers  @On It !

@On It  Hoping God sees you safely on your journey.

I am in Nova Scotia.  Last May our city lost 150 homes to wildfires which came very close to my home.  It is devastating but very fortunate that no lives were lost.

Travel safely and update when you are able.  Sending you and your family our prayers.  LM

@On It  Thank you so much for sharing first hand reports with the forum. You gave a picture of the devastation, far beyond what the news could provide, particularly earlier on, before more rescue teams were able to observe the scene fully. Yours was like inside information. Much appreciated. 

So glad your home is safe. I'm sure your location will be changed in many ways, that only time will heal, but I'm thankful that you remained safe. Please take care and beware of potential risks during area recovery. Keep us posted when you eventually can. Best to you.
