@CrazyKittyLvr2   Thanks for posting.  I have watched this twice so far today.  Always loved the song, but I never knew of "Disturbed".  What a powerful voice - perfect for the meaning of the song.

I 100% agree with the above. I too have never heard of "Disturbed" & it is so powerful I have watched it 3 times today. Thanks for introducing me to an artist that I would have never listened too if it hadn't been for your posting. Unchained Melody is another one of my favorites.

Did Petunia behave herself at Christmas? Hope we all have a Happy New Year going forward. Anything is better than what we have been thru in 2020.

Wow! I just watched the video. I never heard of Disturbed before, but the boy's definitely got talent! Great rendition of that song!

Powerful rendition of one of the most beautiful and meaningful songs ever written. Simon and Garfunkel wrote poetry when they wrote songs.

@50Mickey Paul is the writing  genius- Art only sang (beautifully). But with Art's ego, he'd love to take some credit!

Just watched. Very powerful and timely rendition.

S&G  were from my "Hometown". (Queens, NYC) They were a favorite when I was in college. Saw them in 2003  Old Friends tour with Everly Brothers. They are not friends now...Bridge Over Troubled Water? "Sounds of Silence" now.

Just saw "The Graduate" again last week. Great soundtrack by SG .

@Zaimee  I've seen them in concert together - and seperately- over the years  and I get a sense (as adults anyway)  they were ever actually 'friends'. I think they tolerated each other because their pairing worked. During Paul's final tour he introduced 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' as a song that he 'lent out  several times and it came back to him'- and he noted Aretha Franklin's performance specifically! Not a mention of Art! Woman Surprised

David Draiman's performance is powerful- it beings a whole other dimension to the lyrics. I was considering seeing Disturbed in concert just to hear this live! I love rock music, but metal? Woman Frustrated The pandemic saved me from making that decision. Woman Happy

If a singer like David was a Cantor at my synogogue, I would never have missed Shabbat services -- ever! Woman LOL His amazing range would enhance other genres  so much more. Sorry metal fans -- jmho!

It was just such a surprise.  I will thank my DD, if not for her I would have never heard it.

Also, yesterday I watched people react to Bobby Hatfield, of the Righteous Brothers do Unchained Melody.  It was Andy Williams Show in 1965. Another amazing performance.Watching young folks who weren't familiar with them was fun.

That darn rabbit hole of You Tube.

‘Unchained Melody’ one of my very favs also.

Rightious Brothers, of course

And

Shout out to the Il Divo version - in Italian, ♥️ melting

And to John Gary’s version - beautiful voice
