I ordered a $3,179.99 Sleep Number bed on 2-1-16.  The bed shipped out on 2-6-16 in 6 different boxes all with different tracking numbers.  I received 2 boxes on 2-9-16 and 2 boxes on 2-10-16.  I checked the tracking on the other 2 boxes and there was no tracking information.  I called QVC to let them know the 2 boxes were missing and the CSR told me it was UPS's fault.  I called UPS and they of course told me if the boxes had shipped there would be tracking information.  So I then proceeded to online chat with 3 different CSR's on 3 different occasions and was told I would have to wait until my Estimated Delivery Date of 2-20-16 before they could look into this matter, even though I had already received the other 4 boxes and the 2 missing boxes did not have any tracking information.  I got fed up and decided to call Sleep Number yesterday and they did nothing but apologize for the poor customer service provided by QVC.  Sleep Number asked me what I needed, I told them and they placed the order free of charge.  This will be my last purchase from QVC!!  Their CSR's are truly either uninformed, untrained or just don't care and I am still sleeping on the floor.

I guess I have totally misunderstood the ordering of this bed from QVC.   I thought they set it up for a local delivery.  There is no way I would want it delivered as you described.  Yikes!  Just asking for a mess!  Good luck on getting this straightened out.  And, thanks for this post!

QVC is excellent at blaming everyone else.  They sell and advertise these deals on their sight but when something goes wrong they're quick to pass the buck. I had my fill of the Q this week and their inadequacy that goes all the way up to corporate.  All they are interested is the sell and pushing their high interest Q card.  There is NO customer appreciation at all.   It took me over a month to get a gift card that was due to me. I was laughed at by several CS reps, they found it amusing that I was worried about my $30 gift card. My purchases will be very limited.

Hi @Wvstate698, Sorry to hear that you did not have a good service experience. We do have a department that works directly with Sleep Number. If any additional issue should arrive, please feel free to contact us at QVCSocialTeam@QVC.com and we will put you in touch with them rather than having you work through Customer Service. I'll certainly forward your feedback in regards to where we might improve.

What is the shame about this situation is that Customer Service does not have the information about the separate department that handles Sleep Number orders which was posted by the moderator.

No wonder people get frustrated with the CSRs.  They should be provided with the information on where to direct people to get more explicit data regarding their orders when there is such a department.

I sort of ran into a similar situation regarding the delivery appearance of a lap top I ordered.  CS could not answer my question, I even facebooked the Dell Representative who presented the item and received no reply.  If it wasn't for one of social moderators seeing my concern; taking action and getting me an answer I would have returned the laptop.

Another reason why never to buy any major purchase on-line.

@PINKdogWOOD

The OP states:  "...I got fed up and decided to call Sleep Number yesterday and they did nothing but apologize for the poor customer service provided by QVC.  Sleep Number asked me what I needed, I told them and they placed the order free of charge...."
