I've ordered several items and been very pleased. Earlier this year I ordered a 3-pc set of ceramic owls. The medium sized one was broken. I called customer service they advised me they'd send another set and to keep what I had or donate. The second set came and the same thing! Since I really liked them and wasn't in a hurry I called customer service and they again said to keep them, and would reorder sending a note to the seller about what is happening. I got my third set and boy did they ever wrap it to the extreme, but nothing was broken!
Great and friendly customer service at the time but now things have changed so much
it's hard to know what is going on behind the scenes. These are definitely trying times.

Wayfair has been struggling for sometime long before the pandemic---

I've had it with Wayfair! I recently ordered something and waited 2 weeks for my delivery date. My delivery date came and went. I wrote to them asking where my item was....they discontinued it. Wasted over 2 weeks of my life on Wayfair. I found where they get this item from and ordered it directly from them. Got it in two days!

I ordered a boat load of things from Wayfair about 2 years ago, I was 100% satisfied with their CS and all the way around.
