I was helping my daughter unpack groceries and I pulled out a canister of Wegmans disinfectant wipes.  I hadn't had my mitts on any in months.

DD and I went to local stores since she was working from home and wasn't near Wegmans every day. She didn't venture to the county where Wegmans is because they were full of Covid cases. Our county wasn't bad.

She is back at work and hit Wegmans. She said they had 4 canisters on a shelf and it was limit of one. She commented that she didn't realize how much she missed Wegmans.  

It is sad how happy a canister of wipes made me.

They are rare for sure.

I found Seventh Generation disinfectant wipes at an organic grocery store a couple of weeks ago and again at Wegmans.

Both times it was the last cannister on the shelf.

It does help to go earlier in the day, even now 4 months out.

Costco apparently has Kirkland disinfecting wipes at my local store.  I have to go next week to pick up a prescription, so I am going to go Tuesday morning and see if I can get a box.

I've gone into my office a few times and we have spray bottles of disinfectant and paper towels that I can use there to clean the bathroom (it's cleaned by the cleaning people twice a day but I want to clean it myself).

I need wipes for when I'm out.  I have been putting 2 in a baggie in my purse in case I need to use a restroom in the grocery store.

I don't really go out other than the grocery store.  I went to Target twice and Walmart once to do a return.

@VaBelle35    I put 2 or 3 in a zip lock bag when I go out too.  Before the whole virus thing, and you could always find the 3 pkg of Lysol wipes, we always kept a bunch in the car.

Since they became as scarce as hens teeth 2 or 3 in a baggie will have to do.

I have been lucky to find EO hand sanitizing wipes (my favorites) twice at Sprouts a couple of times.

I get absolutely giddy about it.

Do the EO ones have the necessary ingredients to kill COVID?

Buyer beware everyone. Some off brands of wipes have been appearing in our supermarkets and in reading the ingredients label I don't see that they'd kill the virus and so I've passed on them.

@VaBelle35   It seems that in 2020 it is the small things that make us happy.  I never envisioned being tickled pink by getting a cleaning product.

I was surprised to find the packets of 20 Purell wipes in my local Target store on Friday.  The last time I saw them (at least three months ago) it was one per customer.

Friday they had two small bins of them in the "trial size" section, $1.49 a pack, and there was no limit, so I bought four packs.  One for each vehicle and a spare.

I couldn't believe they even had them after all this time.

Costco had the big 5 pack of Chlorox wipes a few weeks ago. so I am set for awhile.  Items that were in big demand were slowly coming back on the shelves but now with the increase in cases again, who knows.
