I loved the days when I could have lunch at my best friend's house. She lived very close to our elementary school and her family lived in an enormous Victorian.
Her mother, a former model, made a killer navy bean soup. Best of all, they had a color TV built into the wall in the kitchen!
Going there to eat soup and watch Monty Hall in color was childhood paradise.
Thanks for the memories. Godspeed.

Really liked that show back when he was hosting it. He had the seemingly illusive "knack" others just seem to be missing.
RIP, you gave much enjoyment to millions of people.

I watched the original LMAD many years ago. Monty Hall was a master host. Wayne Brady always speaks of him with great respect. That’s really nice. I expect to hear Wayne honor Monty. I read that Monty Hall was a co-creator of the show and that he chose Wayne Brady to be the host of the show’s latest version.
