And he told me that today was his first day off after working 30 days straight.

I have such respect for these hard working men and women.

As it is now, highway 101 is completely closed just north of Willits, due to fire, and Willits had to be evacuated.

Since the beginning of this year, over 2 million acres have burned, and the fire "season" isn't over yet.😞

Here's a picture that I took just now of the sky and sun.

I know that it's hard to tell, but the sun is red.

Air quality wise, our air is in the hazardous category.

What a hard situation and so hard on the workers and bad for lungs.  Even up here we had a hazy Monday with smoke.  Such an odd yellow color.
