I'm feeling better today than I have been. I'm still not at 100% yet, but I should be there soon.

I told the dr. my symptoms and how I couldn't keep a BK burger down on Tuesday, and that I had an upset stomach again last night. He asked if I had any abdominal pain. I told him no, that I did not have any abdominal pain. He asked if I had any diarrhea. I told him no, I didn't have any diarrhea. He asked me if I've been having any gas. I told him that yes, yesterday, I was a gassy lassie, or a farty marty. (Hey, he used those words). So he scolded me for patronizing a fast food place. "It'll kill ya! Promise me that you will never, ever eat there again for the whole rest of your life!" (He liked the movie "Super-Size Me" where the guy ate at Mickey-D's every single day.) He also told me to drink Gator-ade to keep my electrolytes up.

He ordered a blood draw to test to see if I am diabetic, and he faxed over a lab sheet to have my gall bladder ultra sounded at the local hospital. I'm waiting for them to call me with an appointment.

On the way out, the doctor again scolded me for not having come in sooner, when I was nauseas and vomiting. I told him that I had had a cold, and I thought that the nausea and vomiting was a part of the cold. He said that it may have been.

So, that's the latest on that.

I don't normally eat at fast food, but on Tuesday, when I hadn't eaten anything all day, I knew that I needed to eat something, so I grabbed that on the way home. Yes, eating at fast food every day, or even every week is not healthy. But grabbing a burger once every few months, isn't going to kill you.

Whatever this bug was that I got, it just royally kicked my a$$. I haven't been to the doctor this much for the past couple of years. I'm normally not one who runs to the doctor with every little siffle, sneeze, cough. So for me to see the doctor four times in the past two months (anxiety, physical, upper-respitory infection, now this) is highly unusual for me. I hope that this puts an end to my seeing the doctor! (With the exception of follow-ups).
