I would never, ever report anyone on this BB and think less of those who do. They're the tattletale, tell the teacher sort.
And lord knows we're moderated more than enough as it is.
Reporting isn't going to help solve a crime or prevent a murder so what's the justification.
I don't care how many nicks one has or if their stories are made up or just embellished. Where is the harm in a bit of fantasy?

I couldn't agree more @mamaslittlepotato.

This has been a problem for decades.
Even back in the days when a poster would be banned for bad behavior.
My opinion - this forum is very old software, not as sophisticated and the newer forum software. Newer forums use the IP address, easier to block multiple accounts.
QVC is not going to invest in newer technology for these forums.

The anonymity of internet forums enbolden people to write what they would never say face to face. And multiple accounts are just for the purpose of starting trouble, being an instigator. Also to throw off the mods. Made up stories are ok by me, I assume half of what I read is fantasy on the best day.

@on the bay What I want to know is why people post teaser titles when they begin a subject.
Do you not think enough people are interested enough to post what this discussion is really about? If you don't why post?
Please explain why you open a subject but are reluctant to use a title that really says what it is about.
I simply do NOT get the concept. And here's my chance to ask!

To me, allowing individuals to express anonymously what they otherwise must suppress is a benefit to their mental health. All of us must endure people and opinions we dislike out of politeness, getting along, staying employed...
It freeing to be able say what is honestly felt without suffering the consequences.

IMO there are several people posting who have been banned and are back with different user names.
Some don't know what "troll" means and accuse someone of being a troll when they are simply disliked by a poster, i.e. someone sees through their constant complaining as a need for attention and, when called out for it, claims "troll." And I fail to understand why the constant complainers about QVC keep shopping at QVC. The clearly just love to complain.
Some people here must have no friends in real life to talk to and there post every mundane thing about their life, starting at least one and often more than one thread per day --- about nothing.
Then there are those who refuse to accept that political talk is prohibited and try constantly to sneak in their political comments. They need to find a board that allows political comments since they just can't control themselves. They need to go elsewhere because they know they are violating the rules here and just don't care.
I completely agree with the poster who pointed out those who don't identify in a thread title what the thread is about. And I'll add those who need to start a new thread when there already obviously is one, just to get her own attention. Use the existing thread!

@Shanus wrote:@dooBdoo I don't pretend to know the true psychology of trolls, but because I've had the same one following me from thread to thread for over 10 years I can only assume it's jealousy that I received reponses or her need for attention. She's very nasty and is snarky. I report those remarks that are baiting and try not to "get into it" with her.
Trolls like the attention even if it's, negative like a child, and get no response, but enjoy that their words are out there. Other than that, I see no reason to pay attention to them...a useless waste of space and it breaks up the conversation.
I know that duplicates must exist here and agree about the outdated software.
You must like the attention because you constantly complain about her. She is very annoying and so is your constant complaining.

@mamaslittlepotatoThere are a lot of nasty posters on this board, but only you can allow them to make you miserable.
