@Puppy Lips ~ Eagle River is only 15.5 mi from Anchorage. Yes, they descend into the city late fall/early winter.  So beautiful to watch the mamas and their calves.

DON’T get too close, though!  As with all moms, they’re very protective.  I’m sure your family filled you in on that information.  Hope you do come back to visit when it’s possible. 🌲🙋🏻‍♀️🌲

Hi Anonymous!  Saw your post.....I live in so cal now, Orange County, but was born and raised in Crescent City. Graduated from the nursing program at HSU....agree with you; one of the most beautiful places on earth, and, boy, do I miss my redwoods...and the fog...!
