I was driving to a medical supply store yesterday morning and after my purchase i started out for home.  As i approached a traffic light (which was red) I stopped and noticed the garage sale sign nailed to a pole on the corner....the sign said to come to their "MY HUSBAND MADE ME SELL IT GARAGE SALE".....

@Desertdi  Yes, I imagine all those Logo layers will be quite cozy in summer in Phoenix.

I imagine they would be.  They are light, loose, airy and the protect skin from the blazing hot sun.  There's a reason why people who reside in dessert countries wear light colored robe type clothing that covers them from neck to ankle.  It keeps them cooler.....unlike a tank top and shorts.

@Kachina624...........yeah........it's 95° right now (Humidity 13%).     I limit myself to one layer, tho (!)...............

I think our humidity yesterday afternoon was 8% but the temp was only about 80°.  It's very warm today but nowhere near the 90s.

I would like to know where I can obtain one of those mugs.  Sounds like they really work!

Thanks for the amusing stories, folks.

@Kachina624..........when my ma was in her last years, I had daytime practical  nurses who wore burqas...........but they had regular clothes (jeans & t-shirts) on UNDERNEATH...............there is NO WAY I could be that devout...................

Thanks for the laughs!

I've seen some pretty clever signs from those asking for hand outs but I can't share or I'd be banned LOL.
