cody, gazelle77, scotttie, colliemom3, adelle38, dooBdoo:

Thank you ALL for your advice and support. appreciate it. I called credit card company and said the transactions haven't come through yet so call on Thursday but my cc is on alert. Customer service also gave me another merchant telephone number for the company.

KYToby, yes, diet and exercise works. I've lost 25 pounds since August 3rd by reducing my caloric intake and running 1-3 miles 2-4 times per week and completing half marathons. I was just looking for a little extra help, I'd love to achieve the official (government endorsed) goal weight for my height/age which is technically 30 pounds less although I'd be happy with an additional 20 pound loss.

I am sure you will be able to get your money back when you call them. Then just watch your statement. Good thing it was a credit card, so you have them to back you too. Most credit card purchases come with a guarantee for purchases. But....I am more concerned that you just clicked a link from where ever you were online. That is asking for virus and malware on your computer. Never, never, just click a link because it is there. Next time you see something like this that you are interested in, instead of clicking the link, look for information that you can use to go directly to a website instead. Perhaps, maybe if you had started an online search to locate an official website first, you might have seen the information online you found later that showed this wasn't legit.

I don't think you are foolish or stupid. At one time or another all of us react without thinking the matter through. You got caught up in the moment and that's what they were hoping you would do.

EastCoast, thank you for relating your story. It's always helpful to be reminded of scams. Aside from that I would also suggest to people to research whatever drug or supplement you are interested in rather than just blindly filling a doctor's prescription or taking someone's (even a friend's) advice about an herb or supplement.

It's questionable whether garcinia cambogia can cause weight loss at all and it's also important to be aware of its side effects and drug interactions.

Like everyone else has said call your credit card company immmediately! It's not your fault, these scammers are getting really good at scamming people today. It can happen to anyone. I have a landline phone and on my message I just state my phone # that the person is calling, not our name. Well, I get a call from someone who says it's very important that I call them, that I am in trouble and someone is going to come to my house and arrest me if I don't call them back. Well, there are three people living in my house, who do they want? I'm a law obiding citizen and have never been in any kind of major trouble in my life, so if they want to send someone to me house to arrest me, have at it!

Your credit card company will most likely open a case, and if the company continues to charge you, they will follow through.
