Re: I Joined the Stanley Masses

I'm not a big water drinker but I'm drinking more than I used to which was none. Lol. Couple of 16oz bottles/day. I prefer pop. anyhow, I can't stand the taste of water or coffee in a metal container. Are the Stanley cups metal?
that is my tuxedo cat's name btw. Stanley Cup 😀

All those cups (to me) have a taste. And it's a taste that makes me--make a face. I am in the minority, though--everyone in SoCal has a big ole bottle/cup.

I am trying to drink sparkling water because our tap water is weird tasting, and I don't like most bottled still water. My favorite sparkling is Topo Chico (yellow).

Not a Stanley but I have a big thermal tumbler too, for the same reason.  I fill it twice a day but don't always finish the second one.  It still has ice the next morning so I'll take my morning pills with it.  I prefer not to have sucralose, if I can help it, so I get stevia sweetened flavor drops from Aldi.

Re: I Joined the Stanley Masses

@monicakm Nice!  Good job drinking more water.  I really like my Stanley and Yeti.  My company has given so many of these containers over the years i have given many away.  I really enjoy carrying them when I fly.  So handy!!

Many years ago I gave a black one and a gold one to my brother. (steelers fan like me) His wife said he loved them so much.  He told his uroogist that was why he started drinking more water. He thought he was a part of the 'cool kids club" lol!

I love drinking water but it has to be cold. I drink 64oz daily. I cant sip water. I can drink 8oz of water without moving the thermos from my lips. I have two and they both say "life is good" plus I also put on a few other decals.

Happy drinking.

Wow @Sage04

You are so fortunate, that you enjoy just plain water!  My water has to be very cold too, but loving just plain water?   *you are lucky!*

I prefer my Simple Modern cup. Reasonable price and beat the Stanley actoss the board in testing.

@JoyFilled Warrior  it runs in the family. My nephew who played College football at two Colleges here in Georgia carries around a 64oz thermos. I tried to put it on the table a few days ago and couldn't, and he picked it up like it was a piece of paper.

My Naprologist told me not to go over 64oz so I try not to. My kidneys are in great shape and my urine is the right color. I always thought that everyone loved drinking plain water lol. I don't think about it. I just drink it. Milk is a different story.

Re: I Joined the Stanley Masses

I have both a Yeti cup and a Stanley cup. I like the Stanley cup because the handle is easy to use. What I don't like about the Stanley cup is that the lid is sometimes difficult for me to screw off, but I use the Stanley most often. I purchased a Stanley lunch cooler; it is pretty and nice, but it does not function like my Yeti soft cooler. I work out of my car in Florida, and it is hot. The Yeti keeps my lunch and drinks cold all day. The Stanley is for me to take in the office only. The Stanley cooler is a lot lighter than the Yeti and that is why I purchased it, but the performance of the Yeti drastically outdoes the performance of the Stanley cooler.
