Re: I Have a Confession to Make

[ Edited ]

The only thing I've ever tried from Starbucks was their lemon loaf cake and a blueberry muffin; not a coffee or tea drinker, beyond sweet tea.  I never even tried coffee until I retired, and am not a big fan.

If it hadn't been for the generous Starbucks gift card for the office I worked in, I'd be responding to this post saying I've never had anything from this business.   We blew that gift card on various sweets.

They are really good but I have not had one in at least 9 years since I gave up sugar. I don't ever intend to have one since sugar is SO very bad for you. It is an easy pass for me.

I've never had a milkshake. Just doesn't have any appeal to me.

Re: I Have a Confession to Make

I've never had one, either.

I've never had any of the pumpkin junk that comes out in the fall.

Except the pies from WF.

Not a fan of Starbucks.  I love a cup of coffee in the morning.  Starbuck's coffee doesn't taste good to me.  Stood in line on Monday to get my granddaughter some fruit drink (Dragon something?).  It took about a year for them to make.  Ugh...

I have another confession.

I've never had a Krispy Kreme donut.

Pumpkin spice is cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg.  There is no pumpkin in it.

I never use it, not even when I make pumpkin desserts. I love pumpkin, but not the canned stuff...real pumpkin only.

I have never tried Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew or beer.  Well, I tasted them and spit it out..yuck.

That's the blend of spices sold as a combination for baking a pumpkin pie.

However, Starbucks puts pumpkin purée in its pumpkin spice latte.

I'm guessing that's just more of what you meant to say, @Carmie Feel free to smack me on the head if I'm wrong!

I do have to say, when I open a fresh can of the organic pumpkin purée I add to my dog's meals, it smells amazing. Just pure pumpkin, nothing else. Not specifically for dogs, but the one you'd buy if making a pie from scratch.

I drink coffee without sugar and just a drop of milk.  I do not care for sweet drinks at all.   To be honest, I tried a coffee at Starbucks once and never went back.  Just not my taste.

No coffee, latte, or pumpkin spice here either.

I love flavored coffee but I don't do lattes.  I enjoy pumpkin spice too.

Same, and I dislike the taste of pumpkin - and coffee (I know - the horror!) in general.

Although I do like the smell of coffee brewing.

Re: I Have a Confession to Make

The only thing pumpkin I like is pumpkin bread. Hate pumpkin pie and it's a big NO for me for a pumpkin spice *anything*.
