Same here. I've been working from home for 10 years but difference is I never go into the office. In fact my home office is hundreds of miles away. I get plenty of interaction via Skype, email, and texts. I LOVE WORKING FROM HOME! And I get lots of work done 💪

I've worked at home for 2 different companies.
This company always seems to forget WAH. When they mandated everyone work from home they didn't tell me they changed the hours. So when I signed in I was 1 1/2 hours late. They "forgave" me and I wasn't tagged with Minus Points for being late. Then they started Voluntarily Time Off. VTO wasn't explained to me so I requested incorrectly. They always forget me.....
DH says I'm treated like the "red-headed step-child"
maybe because I'm "old" (60) & ..........

Heard from the campus, that IF this thing is over by summer, I can go back to work at the university, Crossing my fingers. I really miss going to work. Hard to believe....but I do. Working form home is OK, but again....I much prefer being there in the office.

@Mary Bailey it may not be an age issue.
We were told last Friday that if anything chaged, work hours, etc that mgmt would send out a txt.
Instead, they sent out an email on Saturday. If you were off work Friday, you never got the email telling you there might be changes to office hours and look for the txt that never came.
SMH 🤐

@Snowpuppythey are just inconsiderate No email no text no message no phone call
I signed in at my normal time and found out I was late
"someone" (management) was supposed to call me about VTO (voluntarily time off) but no one did. They only mentioned that I should have gotten a management phone call: after I requested it wrong.
I have know idea how the notified everyone of the hours of operation change. I just know I was not a part of it.
no apologies either

I have been working at home for 4 months and mostly I like it. I like being able to sleep in a little bit, and being home with my dogs and birds.

I think I would love working from home but my job isn’t just working on the computer. I couldn’t justify 8 hours.
