I know, it feels almost like a betrayal when they do this!  But it did cause me to turn around and look, just in time to see Kohl's.  Hmm.  Oh yes.  Kohl's.  Hadn't thought about them in a while!

 

Clearly targeting an audience of a "certain age".  

 

I remember From Me To You as the first Beatles song that I got the lyrics down pat.  I was walking to my girlfriend's house, probably about a half mile away, walking past the high school, singing that song.  I was in the third grade!

Doesn't Michael Jackson's Estate own Pauls catalog? That's what I remember reading.

 

I don't really like to hear Beatles songs in commercials either. Being brought up in the era of The Beatles, I find it sacrilegious. But it's all about the $$$. It always is.
