If you carry this purse I promise someone wil grab your arm and ask "where did you get that purse"

If you wear these shoes/boots/sandals, someone will as "where did you get those shoes;

If you wear this someone will stop you in your tracks and ask you "where did you get that outfit.

Not one person has ever stopped me and asked me those questions.  Do I have a case in court?  I'd be RICH .. I guarantee it.

I've had some people stop me.

A saleslady in Neiman Marcus stopped me and asked what designer I was wearing when I was walking around Fashion Island in California.  She said she loved it.  I told her Liz Claiborne top and pants, Perry Ellis shoes.  HA!  I think she expected a thousands of dollars designer.

Quite a few women grabbed my arm to see my old 60's Snoopy watch.  Lol.

Mostly, stopped for my shoes.

No one stops me.  Stupid sales pitch.;;;Years ago when Philosopy fragrance lasted past the dry down time I would get compliments on how I smelled from strangers.  I always wored the Pure Grace. Such a shame when something you love changes.

I have a shopper tote style purse that I carried for months and I was asked many times where I got it!  It had Snoopy and Woodstock on it!  If memory serves me that's probably the only time someone asked me where I got something that I was wearing!

I have many times and I can easily say that I have had at least 30 people stop me and comment on Katrina's Toasty Tote. Even men stopped me and told me how much they loved my bag.

I get stopped and asked all the time about my bag or my shoes or my outift!

People even ask about my jewelry sometimes.   I don't look for attention nor am I wearing anything that's very expensive.  So I take it as a compliment.

I got stopped one time by a woman who wanted to know where I got my hair cut.  I told her Supercuts!

I've been working telework now for 2 years.  But before that, my office is in a 24-floor building, and connected to seven other similar office buildings.  There are many shopping areas as well, some also connected, and some in a short walking distance or drive.

I describe this because yes, I most definitely was asked at least once a week where I got something, or at the very least, told me they admired something I was wearing or carrying. It was reciprocal, and pretty much the norm being around a large group of people every day.  We notice and verbally admire what women wear.  At least here. I went about my business, my work, rushing to meetings in other offices and buildings.  On breaks, I went to Starbucks downstairs, and Target in the next building, etc. Yep, it was a nice normal occurrence.

But that was then.Smiley Happy

Just yesterday, I was asked where I got my shoes (Talbots) and necklace (Linea - QVC).

I get asked a lot.
