I once won a free shot of espresso from Starbucks.

About 11 years ago, I was at a mall that had a Starbucks, and outside the shop was a chalkboard, that had the question of the day, where if you got it right, you got a free shot of espresso.

The question that day was, "Where was William Shakespeare born?"

I knew the answer.

I went in and told the baristia the answer and got my free shot of espresso.

She did try to upsell me a coffee beverage, but I took my shot straight.

Cool! I got free ice cream once because I answered the trivia question on the day. What was the first movie to win an oscar? Answer: wings.

I haven't though of that in years.

How wonderful! I'd do anything for a Baskin Robbins Praylines and Cream. We have Hershey's ice cream and they have salted pecan. It's too strong in salt.

@ECBG Pralines and cream is much too "tame" or "ordinary" a flavor for this ice cream place! (My fave at B&R has always been jamocha almond fudge, but I haven't been to a B&R store in years.)
