I'm sure I would be banned for life too, if I were to speak my mind.

I live in a condo and do have a garage but no where to plug it in. And live in a state that has one of the highest electric rates in the country.
Don't like them at all. They are silly looking and have no style. I'll keep what I have forever if necessary.

If you're stuck in traffic, your wheels aren't going around, but the motor, AC or heater is still using power.

I love gadges and I would buy one when:
1. There are ample charging stations with quick charges
2. Price that I can easily afford
3. Safe from blowing up or catching on fire
4. Can go miles and miles without a charge. 200- 300 miles minimum

Obviously in my lifetime I will not be getting one. LOL
And I did have a friend where his car did catch on fire. He was safe but his house took quite a hit.

I also don't want an electric car but I live in California and by 2035 I won't be able to purchase a gas powered car. I have thirteen years to figure out a solution to this problem
@lgfan I agree.. I am in CA also. I will be 81 in 13 years so hopefully whatever gas car I have at that point will last till I quit driving.

I love my Generac, we had a large portable one, but it was just too big to lug outdoor's, especially in the winter. Earlier this year we decided to have a Generac stand by installed.

If you live in California can you buy a car in another state and then drive it after the electric car mandate is rule of law????

Single guy with two Teslas if you can believe that one. Bragged all the time about his cars. I felt sorry for him because the cars were essentially HIS FAMILY. This was a way back and it made him feel special to own these. As of now I really have not heard from him. No idea what happened over time.
