@Buffalogal47 I don’t believe that at all. In fact it sounds ridiculous.
So you must think doing things like doing a yoga headstand on the railing of a balcony on upper floor of a high rise or taking a selfie at the edge of a cliff are smart ideas leading to a long life? Engaging in life-threating extreme stunts is not the mark of intelligence. There are frequent news stories about stupid people doing stupid things that end in their deaths or leaving them disabled for life.

I can't believe the stupidity of kids breaking into a house, having a huge party, trashing the place and taking videos of themselves doin' it. Genius.

@Buffalogal47 I know it’s hard to believe but people have been doing stupid things since the beginning of time. To say it’s to cull the herd is ridiculous. Maybe that’s what the flu is for. Whaddya think?
Many many people think they are smart. The more they open their mouths you can tell it’s not true. They are idiots.

All of us do stupid things at times. But people who deliberately tempt fate on a regular basis are more likely to get seriously hurt or killed are asking for trouble. Daredevils as well as epidemics are Nature's way of getting rid of the weaker links in the world. This applies to all living things, not just to people. Culling the herd is just another way of saying survival of the fittest.
I couldn't agree more with your last 2 sentences though. So true!
