The Name and Product Description on screen but both Channels are not doing so well.
If it's written up by someone and then typed on screen by another then spelling mistakes or descriptions shouldn't be that hard to catch before millions of customers see it on air.
Last night during the Dennis Basso show they presented a lurex top and was spelled something like lurek which Amy caught and brought to everyone's attention. lol
Yesterday on HSN they presented a massage chair that was spelled and presented as a message chair.
I see it all the time on air. ![]()
It's not that difficult...

I've seen a few items with funny errors in the description box too. There always good for a laugh before the host catches them lol.

I guarantee it is voice recognition software, not a natural live person who uses critical thinking. If you believe this is bad, you should look at your medical record sometime.
Do e-commerce/CMS systems have that functionality? There are e-commerce vendors that have something called voice commerce, but that's for buying. It's probably the planner or assistant buyer who types in the description.

Oh my goodness no.
Autocorrect is bad enough...and I hope my medical records are not imput by voice recognition!
Alexa doesn't understand a single thing I ask her to do!

It is unfortunate but I have zero patience for AI voice recognition. As demonstrated by the cursing fit I had on Siri the other day. Not one of my shining moments.

@LTT1 As a retired medical transcriptionist whose job was taken over by voice rec (which we in the business call voice wreck), I can tell you the 90+ percent of medical records are transcribed using voice recognition. My field consists now of editing said records, but many providers don't even use editors.
Seriously...ask to see your records from various providers.

I cannot even imagine all of the mistakes in everybody's medical records... oh please, somebody straighten this out!
