I might be old according to years.l.but still love all the new stuff...looking to trade my Murano for an Armada or new Pathfinder which is having a major change for 2021!!!  I still ride my horse etc....I just don't plan on growing up

What I want in a car is simple, a good heater,  AC, radio and power windows.  Period.

I don't need it to stop for me, talk to me, a screen and the ability to hook up my devices.

I tried to turn on the radio in this car, the screen showed 6 different things, none of which was the radio.

DD can hook her ipad or whatever that thing is up and it shows her podcasts on the screen. I think it's a distraction. You have to look when you want to change podcasts.  It drives me crazy.  Stop d*cking around and drive to Pete's sake.

Actually, if you’re not too obstinate to learn to use it, you can change them with a voice command.

I traded  in a practically new four year old car to get all the new features and we are in LOVE with it!  It is the best thing we could have done.

We are both well past 60.  It's not rocket science to learn the best features--some you may not need.  But it is far far safer, and less troublesome to drive this new one.  We can see all around it, warns if we drift, and SOOO many other great features!

My DH is the same way and he drives an older car....hates all the new bells & whistles!  Every time I drive his car, (he has a CRV and we use since it has a large cargo space for going to the beach) I find myself looking for the rear view camera and other features that I've gotten used to in my new car.

I happen to love some of the new features...love the cameras, touch screen with GPS and I don't mind the keyless entry & start.

I am not old and I love how customizable all the new cars are. Makes thinking about things so much easier and efficient.

My feeling is the more they add to cars the more to go wrong and the more expense to fix them.  Same with washers, dryers, refrigerators etc. 

My DD loves all that tech junk on cars, and it's her car I just drive it when I have to go somewhere.

I drive a classic 4 Runner and as long as I can get into it, I'm staying!  Jest sayin", lol!!!!!

In July I got the Honda Accord "touring" model...it's a terrible thing when the car is smarter than I am!!! lol

Whats scary is I forgot to turn off -- it's so quiet & keyless I absolutely forgot.  I was in house -- I heard this noise like a loud shrill sound OMG I left the car running in garage🙄😳!

And the "lane assist" drives me crazy...I'm gonna have them turn it off when I take it in for oil change.

Now I make sure to double check before I get out -- I turn radio off usually before I get out now I leave it on ...
